Railway line and bridges between Holot Intersection and Yavne – Implementation of the dual railway line infrastructure between Holot Intersection and Yavne, including four bridges, one of them independently planned and extending 200 m over Route 20. Scope of project – US$28 million (NIS 104 million); client: Israel Railways; implementation: March 2008 – August 2010.

Trans-Israel Highway tunnel (Dalia Tunnel) – building a pair of tunnels on Route 6 (section 18), three lanes on either side, each one 200 m long. The tunnel was built by the cast and fill method, using heavy hydraulic forms. Client: Derech Eretz Trans-Israel Highway; financial scope: US$5 million (NIS 18 million); implementation: November 2007 – July 2009.

Trans-Israel Highway tunnel (Nili Tunnel) – building a pair of tunnels on Route 6 (section 18), three lanes on either side, each one 350 m long,. The tunnel was built by the cast and fill method, using heavy hydraulic forms, and also included electrical and infrastructure work. Client: Rolzur for Derech Eretz; financial scope: US$16 million (NIS 59 million); implementation: November 2007 – June 2009.
Upgrading Pier 7 at Ashdod Port – renovating Pier 7 at Ashdod Port, replacing derrick tracks, renovating the upper part of the pier and also the lower part below the waterline, including underwater concrete casting and welding. The work was carried out together with Typhoon, a Linom subsidiary. Client: Israel Ports Co.; financial scope: US$6.5 million (NIS 23.5 million); implementation: March 2008 – February 2010.
Separation of levels, Binyamina South – building a bridge to separate the levels of the railway line and the new Binyamina exit road, including planning and implementation of the bridge, and development and paving of the system of roads to the bridge. Client: Israel Railways; financial scope: US$10.5 million (NIS 38.8 million); implementation: September 2006 – March 2009.

Anava tunnel, Ben Gurion Airport – Modiin railway line – constructing a tunnel for the pair of railway lines alongside the intersection of Route 431 to Modiin (Anava), for the railway line between Ben Gurion Airport and Modiin. The tunnel was mined using a pipe umbrella and steel arch support system, including a 20 m shaft, 90 m long; a total tunnel length of 400 m. The timetable demanded was almost impossible, but the work was nonetheless completed on time. Client: Israel Railways; financial scope: US$18.5 million (NIS 68 million); implementation: September 2005 – September 2006.
Modiin railway tunnel¬ – constructing an 800 m tunnel for the end of the railway line into Modiin, by the excavation, cast and fill method, using hydraulic steel forms and progressing at a rate of 30 m a week. Client: Terre Armee for Israel Railways; financial scope: US$2.2 million (NIS 8.3 million); implementation: November 2003 – December 2004.

Agricultural bridges over the Trans-Israel Highway - 11 agricultural bridges over Route 6, including special architecture and integration in the landscape. Client: Danya Cebus for Derech Eretz; financial scope: US$3.8 million (NIS 14 million); implementation: March 2002 – December 2003.

INS Eilat, underground passage – constructing an underground passage at Kiryat Haim. The project included constructing a raft in high groundwater and lowering the water level until completion of the work. Client: Yefe Nof Ltd.; financial scope: US$6.1 million (NIS 22.4 million); implementation: October 2001 – January 2004.

Arazim tunnel at Mitzpe Neftoach (Jerusalem) – for Route 9 serving as the new entrance to Jerusalem, casting 2 tunnels, 400 m each, using heavy hydraulic forms. Client: Edom for Moriah; financial scope: US$3.2 million / NIS 12 million (our share of US$9.2 million, or NIS 34 million); implementation: July 2002 – November 2003.
Pedestrian bridge, Ben Gurion Avenue, Netanya – building a suspended pedestrian bridge over Ben Gurion Ave, Netanya. The bridge was constructed of steel beams, over a noisy and active road. Client: Netanya Development and Tourism Co. (Halat Netanya); financial scope: US$1.1 million (NIS 4 million); implementation: March 2001 – January 2002.

Tel Aviv – Ben Gurion Airport railway line - constructing a dual track sunken railway line in the section between Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport, using a steel form (patent) for casting the side walls. Client: Israel Railways; financial scope: US$9 million (NIS 33 million); implementation: March 2001 – December 2003.
Railway bridges along the Beer-Sheva – Ramat Hovav line – constructing 4 bridges along the railway line from Beer-Sheva to Ramat Hovav, including a 220 m bridge with pre-stressed prefabricated beams over Nachal Beer-Sheva, involving complex architectural planning. The beams were not symmetrical, requiring special forms, and were cast on site at a weight of 170 tons each. Client: Israel Railways; financial scope: US$4.9 million (NIS 18 million); implementation: November 2001 – December 2003.
Hadid tunnel - constructing a three–lane tunnel for the Trans-Israel Highway by the Ben Shemen intersection, using the casting method and heavy hydraulic forms. The timetable for the work was restricted, and work progressed at a rate of 50 m a week. Client: Adom for Malibu Ltd.; financial scope: US$3 million (NIS 11.2 million); implementation: March 2001 – April 2002.

Bridge at Mikve Israel, Tel Aviv – building a bridge over a busy road (Route 44 by Mikve Israel). Client: PWD Tel Aviv; financial scope: US$0.7 million (NIS 2.5 million); implementation: July 2000 – May 2001.

Bridge over the railway line, Hadera Industrial Area – building a bridge over the railway line in Hadera, in conditions of constant vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Client: PWD Haifa; financial scope: US$1.1 million (NIS 3.9 million); implementation: February 2000 – May 2001.
